Located at 81 Wyona Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314, Dr. Robert Sorrentino operates as a dental implant serving Staten Island in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Staten Island is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had and i would strongly warn anyone considering treatment at dr Sorrentino office to be extremly careful I went in for routine dental cleaning performed by Bogdan Nykyforuk and left with pain, damaged teeth, serious amount of stress and additional dental treatment and expenses to fix problems that i did not have before What makes this even more disturbing is that I later learned Bogdan did not have licence and was working under permit I was essentially being practiced on during procedure I was not informed about his qualifications that allowed me to make a decision beforehand. NO PATIENT should go in for dental cleaning and come out with pain, damaged teeth and burden of corrective treatment paying for someone else mistakes

I fell asleep in the chair that is how gentle Dr. Sorrentino is. He is also one of the very few who perform Lapan laser for deep cleaning no cutting no suturing no down time. No pain. This is the best deep cleaning I ever had. Plus it helps rejuvenate bone loss. I highly recommend this Dr. Now the staff are so nice informative friendly no wait time.

Can't say enough about the man and his assistant Susan. Have been going to him for years. I think of all the times he diagnosed dental problems and referred me to other equally professional practitioners. I will even travel from my new home in Eastern Pennsylvania to use his services.
